Having lost my grandfather to a house fire, my dad always made sure to inspect cords for fray, take proper care of flammable items, know possible exits and keep a fire extinguisher in good condition. It was time to recycle my own extinguishers. They were old and had been recharged once before. At that time I was told that next time I should replace them. I called Carolina Fire Safety, was advised that there is a $5. charge to turn them in. When I got there I learned that the charge is canceled if you are buying another extinguisher. (I had planned on it already) Be Safe. Be prepared. Ask Carolina Fire and Safety to help you update your fire safety plan. Fire spreads incredibly quickly. Do ALL that you can to protect yourself from the unexpected. The staff was great!
